Overview
Despite the Vibe’s sporty appearance, it’s essentially a small-scale minivan minus the sliding doors. Its utility index is relatively high and cargo capacity is plentiful, but fun is conspicuous by its absence. Like the previous Vibe, this new version shares its architecture and powertrains with the Toyota Matrix.Soulless steering combines with average ride and handling to add up to a less-than-fun driving experience. The Vibe is useful, but grab a VW GTI or Mazda 3 for real action.
